Become a Pistons & Props Reenactor
August 28-30, 2026
Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport, Janesville, WI
Bring aviation history to life as part of our living-history reenactor camp. Approved units set up themed displays near the flightline and interact with visitors throughout the day.
The Reenactor Camp
Camp Location
A dedicated, historically themed area near the main flightline — positioned alongside aircraft such as a WWII B‑25 bomber and other visiting planes when available.
This provides an authentic backdrop for displays, photos, and conversations with visitors.
What to Expect
- A clearly marked reenactor camp area separate from general public space
- High visitor traffic throughout the day
- A setting that complements uniforms, gear, and displays from multiple eras
Who Can Participate
We welcome organized reenactment units from any era of military aviation. Participating groups should be ready to set up historically grounded displays and engage with visitors, families, and veterans.
We expect to host 75–100 active reenactors.
